The James R. Anthony Honors Recital 2008 Preliminary Auditions will be Saturday, May 10, 2008 in Tucson (Pima Community College West) and Saturday, May 17, 2008 in Phoenix (Steinway of Phoenix). The final auditions will be held Friday, May 30th, 2008 in Phoenix (location TBD). Winners will then be showcased in the Winners' Recital that afternoon at the ASTMA Conference (Grace Inn, SW corner of I-10/Elliot, Tempe).
James R. Anthony Honors Recital exists to promote the development of musicianship, technique and performance to the highest level possible. This is achieved through evaluation and audition leading to a recital featuring the most outstanding students in Arizona.
